Mounting & Handrail Options

Surface mount
Posts attach to the top of the deck, landing, or stair tread and suit many new installations and remodels.
Fascia mount
Posts attach to the side of the framing, helping preserve usable walking space and moving mounting hardware below the finished surface.
With or without a handrail
Choose streamlined glass-post configurations or posts with handrail brackets for a coordinated top rail.

Framing, edge clearance, waterproofing, glass layout, and applicable local requirements should guide the final configuration.

Select Compatible Glass and Hardware

Glass thickness and panel specifications must match the selected posts, clamps, application, and governing requirements. Inline Design configurations are available for common tempered-glass thicknesses including 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch, with select hardware options for 9/16-inch glass. Confirm compatibility on each product page before ordering.

Tempered glass is widely used for railing infill because it is manufactured to break into relatively small pieces rather than large sharp shards. The required glass type, thickness, edge treatment, panel dimensions, and possible lamination depend on the complete assembly and project location.

Choose the Finish and Environment

Satin stainless steel
A durable architectural finish for indoor and outdoor applications when properly selected and maintained.
Black matte
A bold contemporary finish that visually frames clear glass and coordinates with modern doors, windows, and exterior details.

Plan a Complete Glass Railing System

Select the post profile: square, round, or Arcadia flat bar.
Choose surface-mount or fascia-mount posts for level runs and stairs.
Decide whether the system will include a handrail.
Confirm post height, finish, glass thickness, clamp type, and panel layout.
Verify structural attachment, glass specifications, clearances, load requirements, and applicable local building codes before fabrication or installation.
