Square Barebone Posts for Custom Railing Fabrication
Inline Design Square Barebone Posts are fabrication-ready railing posts supplied without predrilled holes for railing infill hardware. They give fabricators and design professionals the flexibility to determine the hole pattern, fitting locations, infill system, and handrail configuration required for each project.
These posts are intended for custom applications where a standard predrilled post does not match the architectural design, installation conditions, or selected railing system.

Mounting and Height Information
Surface-mount posts include the post and welded base flange.
Fascia-mount posts include the post and the selected straight, inside-corner, or outside-corner fascia flange.
For posts with a pyramid handrail bracket, the selected 36" or 42" height represents the finished railing height with the handrail installed. The handrail shown in the drawings is for reference only and is not included.
For posts without a top handrail bracket, the stated height represents the post height above the finished floor.

Accessories Sold Separately
End caps, base flange covers, handrail brackets, handrails, mounting anchors, and other railing accessories are not included unless specifically stated in the selected variant.
Compatible components can be purchased separately from the Handrail Parts collection.
Installation Responsibility
The appropriate mounting hardware depends on the supporting structure and installation conditions, including concrete, structural steel, wood framing, or engineered blocking.
The installer is responsible for confirming:
- Structural backing and blocking
- Anchor type and required embedment
- Post spacing
- Handrail and infill configuration
- Required guard height
- Compliance with applicable residential or commercial building codes
