Privacy policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Inline Design ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit inlinedesign.com (the "Site") or make a purchase.

Collecting Personal Information

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information that can uniquely identify an individual as "Personal Information."

Device information

  • Examples collected: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, pages or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.
  • Purpose: to load the Site accurately, and to analyze Site usage so we can improve it.
  • Source: collected automatically via cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, and pixels.
  • Disclosed to: our processor Shopify, and our analytics and advertising partners listed below.

Order information

  • Examples collected: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment details (processed securely by our payment processor).
  • Purpose: to fulfill orders, process payment, arrange shipping, provide invoices/confirmations, communicate with you, screen for risk or fraud, and — where consistent with your marketing preferences — send you information about our products or services.
  • Source: collected directly from you.
  • Disclosed to: our processor Shopify, and our shipping and fraud-prevention partners as needed to complete your order.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us operate our business and fulfill our contract with you, including:

  • Shopify, which powers our online store. Learn more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Payment, shipping, and fraud-prevention providers, solely as needed to complete and protect your order.
  • Where required to comply with applicable law, respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell your Personal Information for money. As described in the Behavioural Advertising section below, we do share some information with advertising partners for interest-based advertising, which certain state laws define as a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information — see "Your Rights" below for how to opt out.

Behavioural Advertising

We use your Personal Information to show you advertisements or marketing we believe may interest you. For example:

  • We use Google Analytics to understand how customers use the Site. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • We run advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, to reach potential customers. We share information about your Site use, purchases, and ad interactions with these advertising partners, directly and/or via cookies and similar technologies.

For more on how targeted advertising works, see the Network Advertising Initiative's guide at networkadvertising.org.

You can opt out of targeted advertising directly with these networks:

(Remove any network above that you don't actually advertise on.)

You can also opt out broadly via the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.

Using Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to provide our services, including: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilling orders, providing customer support, and — in line with your preferences — keeping you informed about new products, services, and offers.

Lawful basis (EEA/UK residents)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), if you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your Personal Information under one of these lawful bases: your consent; performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; protection of vital interests; performance of a task carried out in the public interest; or our legitimate interests, where those do not override your rights and freedoms.

Retention

When you place an order, we retain your Personal Information for our business records unless and until you ask us to delete it. We do not store your full payment card details — those are handled by our payment processor. See "Your Rights" below for how to request deletion.

Automated decision-making

We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects using customer data. Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud, including:

  • Temporary denylisting of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions (lasting a few hours).
  • Temporary denylisting of cards associated with denylisted IP addresses (lasting a few days).

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to object to automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Your Rights

EEA / UK residents (GDPR)

You have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, port it to another service, and request that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Your Personal Information may be transferred and processed outside your country, including in Canada and the United States, in connection with our use of Shopify's infrastructure — see Shopify's GDPR whitepaper at help.shopify.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know/access the Personal Information we've collected about you and how it's used and shared.
  • Delete Personal Information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate Personal Information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your Personal Information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request where technically supported.
  • Limit the use of any sensitive Personal Information.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
  • Appeal a denied request by contacting us using the details below.

To exercise any of these rights yourself, or through an authorized agent, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.

Other U.S. state residents

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you similar rights to access, correct, delete, and port your Personal Information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of Personal Information, and certain profiling. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Session cookies last until you stop browsing; persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted — most of ours expire between 30 minutes and two years. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though blocking cookies may affect your experience on the Site. Learn more at allaboutcookies.org.

Blocking cookies may not fully stop information sharing with advertising partners — see "Your Rights" above to opt out directly.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, we do not alter our data practices based on that signal alone. Where legally required, we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of the sale/sharing of Personal Information.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions that set a higher age). If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
