Mounting Options

Surface mount
Posts attach to the top of the deck, landing, or stair tread—a practical choice for many new installations and remodels.
Fascia mount
Posts attach to the side of the framing, helping preserve usable deck space and keeping mounting hardware below the walking surface.

Framing, edge clearance, waterproofing, and local requirements should guide the final mounting choice.

Inline Design’s Press & Latch tensioners and terminals simplify cable installation. Insert the cable into the fitting, seat it securely, and tension the run at the post—without a traditional crimping tool.

Compatible components are available for 1/8-inch and 5/32-inch cable, including straight and angled configurations for level and stair applications.

Plan a Complete Cable Railing System

Confirm post height, finish, cable diameter, and terminal orientation.
