The Square Barebone Post for Custom Railings is a fabrication-ready stainless steel post for
custom railing layouts where a standard pre-drilled post does not match the project design, field conditions,
infill system, or handrail configuration.
These posts are supplied without predrilled holes for railing infill hardware, giving fabricators,
contractors, architects, and experienced installers the flexibility to create project-specific hole patterns,
fitting locations, mounting details, and railing assemblies.
Built from a 1 9/16" square / nominal 40 x 40 mm stainless steel profile with a
2.6 mm wall thickness, this post family supports surface-mount, fascia-mount, stair-pivot,
and no-flange custom fabrication applications.

Mounting and Height Information
Surface-mount posts include a welded base flange. Fascia-mount posts include the selected
end-or-middle, inside-corner, or outside-corner fascia flange.
For posts with a factory-welded pyramid handrail bracket, the selected 36" or 42" height represents the nominal finished
railing height with the handrail installed. The handrail shown in the drawings is for reference only and is
not included.
For posts without a top handrail bracket, the stated height represents the post height above the finished floor.
Special Variants
| 44 3/4" Stair Pivot Post |
Includes an adjustable pivoting surface flange for stair and sloped railing applications. Final angle, positioning, and anchoring must be confirmed during installation. |
| 54 5/8" No-Flange Pyramid Post |
Extended square post with a factory-welded pyramid handrail bracket. It does not include a surface base flange or fascia mounting plate. |
The 54 5/8" No-Flange Pyramid variant is intended for fabricators who will attach their own mounting plate,
embed the post, cut it to a project-specific length, or integrate it into another custom assembly. It appears under
Surface in the selector for ordering purposes only.
Refer to the technical drawings for post height, finished railing height, overall height, floor-level reference,
base and fascia flange dimensions, and mounting-hole configurations.
Accessories Sold Separately
End caps, base flange covers, handrails, mounting anchors, separate handrail brackets, glass clamps, cable fittings, bar holders,
infill hardware, and other railing accessories are not included unless specifically stated in the selected variant.
Compatible components are available from the
Handrail Parts collection.
