Frameless Interior Glass Railing with Standoffs and Wall Handrail – Cabo San Lucas

Explore our range of modern railing systems including cable railing systems, glass railing systems, and stainless steel railings — perfect for indoor and outdoor applications.

This beachfront home in Cabo San Lucas called for a railing that would disappear into the architecture. The staircase and landings use a frameless glass railing: tempered panels held off the structure by our round 2" glass standoffs in satin 316 stainless steel, with no posts and no frame around the glass.

Where a grab rail was required, a stainless handrail runs along the wall on our Luminous Quasar wall brackets. The combination keeps the interior bright and open while the 316 stainless stands up to the salt air coming off the water.

Side-mounted standoffs are the most common way to build a frameless glass railing indoors: they bolt through the stringer or floor edge, hold the panel a set distance off the surface, and are joined panel-to-panel with small stabilizers so the whole run acts as one piece of glass.
