Press and Latch Cable Railing for a Massachusetts Entryway
For the entry of his Massachusetts home, Bob selected our Press and Latch square cable railing system. The goal was straightforward: create a secure, finished transition around the stairs and landing while keeping the entry bright and visually connected.
The slim stainless steel posts and horizontal cables provide a clean architectural frame without the visual weight of a traditional solid railing. Square components align naturally with the home’s straight stair lines, and the stainless finish adds a crisp contrast to the surrounding woodwork.
Because the cable connections are integrated into the post design, the completed installation remains orderly from every angle. Bob’s project shows how a compact railing system can add safety and definition to an entryway without making the space feel smaller.
