The Cable Railing Press And Latch System round Top Mount Upper Stair Post is a piece of our Press And Latch cable railing system. Included in this item is one round predrilled post with cable fittings. Made from ANSI 316 Stainless Steel the post comes stock in both 36" and 42" standard railing heights. The post diameter is 1.67" with a thickness of 0.142".

This post is designed to be placed at the top of a stair railing and to be installed on the top of your surface.  This Post can either end a cable run, continue 180º or turn left or right.  

What is included in the kit?

Upper Stair Post End 

    • For 36" total height from the nose to nose of the stairs to the top of the handrail.  
    • Post: Pre Drilled and tapped (M8 x 1.25mm) 
    • 8 Press and Latch Cable Terminals
    • Square Base Cover or Round Base Cover

OR 

    • For 42" total height rom the nose to nose of the stairs to the top of the handrail.  This post requires custom fabrication.
    • Post: Pre drilled and tapped (M8 x 1.25mm)
    • 10 Press and Latch Cable Terminals
    • Square Base Cover or Round Base Cover

Upper Stair Post 180º, 90ºL or 90ºR

OR 

    • For 42" total height rom the nose to nose of the stairs to the top of the handrail.  This post requires custom fabrication.
