Natural lighting and a glass system really open up this welcoming home.  New England homes look great when remodeled with modern design elements due to their historical design tradition.  Homes like this one are influenced by natural materials (wood and stone) and color palettes and clean line in millwork.

Carl’s home uses custom Chicago Square middle posts and two square glass clamps on each wall on the pony wall between the kitchen and living room.  Using glass panels here causes minimal interruption between both spaces and opens up the entire room.

The handrails leading to the basement use our Chicago Square stair posts for handrail, but were paired with a rounded wooden handrail to match the existing floors.  A beautiful and soft design that keeps the house cozy during harsh winters!
